City in the Sea Limited Edition Print Autographed by Will Eisner and Mark Schultz
Eisner (1917 - 2005) and Schultz made a joint signing appearance at Golden Apple in Los Angeles on April 19, 1991, not long before Schultz's Xenozoic Tales was adapted as an animated cartoon series (Cadillacs and Dinosaurs) for CBS-TV. Schultz penciled this Xenozoic setting (City in the Sea is a future flooded New York City) and he and legendary cartoonist Eisner both inked it. The 9" x 12" print on heavy textured stock is signed by both artists in pencil. It was limited to the first 250 customers at Golden Apple that day. This is one of a small number of A/P's (Artist's Proofs) retained by the creators and their publisher. Near mint condition. Authenticity guaranteed for life by Collector's Shangri-La.
