This 8 x 10 inch sepia tone black and white glossy promotional photo from The Beachcomber (1938) starring spouses Charles Laughton and Elsa Lanchester has been hand-signed in fountain pen by Lanchester (1902-1986). She is best known as the title character in Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and was nominated for an Academy Award for the films Come to the Stable (1949) and Witness for the Prosecution (1957) She also appeared in the Disney films Mary Poppins (1964), That Darn Cat!
