This archive and book collection belonged to comedian Milton Berle (1908-2002), the first major American television star who known to millions of viewers as "Uncle Miltie" and "Mr. Television" during TV's golden age. Berle was the host of NBC's Texaco Star Theater (1948–55). This lot includes photographs, a variety of business files, documents from the Texaco Show and The Buick-Berle Show, a hand-written musical arrangement, his script for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with hand-written annotations, and a variety of books both signed by Milton Berle and inscribed to him.
